"Back to school."

I'm starting school on Monday and it was really rushed because until only a few hours ago that I was totally lost between the choices of Year 11, Year 12 and IB. Then I realize that I couldn't go to Year 12, which sucks because the year 12s here are my age, and I'd hate to be behind (Yes I am too proud, if you want to put it that way) but also because I firmly believed that if anything, the Singaporean curriculum is ahead of Australia's. There were also a lot of other problems along the way but it's all good now. I'll be mingling with peers a year my junior (mostly, though IB does include quite a few international students who may be older/ my age) but I'll probably still look younger than them. I suppose IB is good because it will push me to work extra hard and so I'll mix with people who would motivate me to work much harder. Plus another plus point for this school is that we have no uniforms, so I can wear shorts and shirts to school which makes it easier to put on but less easy because I have to choose what to wear. My parents claim my clothes are too abundant and refuse to grant me much money to improve my wardrobe, which saddens me. Though honestly I wouldn't expect less. My mother is amazing, she paid for Year 12 by herself by working, and my parents worked throughout university and managed to obtain pretty good marks. One would wonder where the brains went (They certainly didn't go to my brother. I kid! Not. No offense.) because I'm just like bleh!

It's certainly getting wordy here, but I can't afford pictures on this painfully slow connection. Loading multiple tabs puts it into excruciating pain, I can almost hear a cry of pain. Uploading pictures will almost certainly kill it. I am gonna get a better modem soon, plus I have data plan, so it's not that bad :) Though I have no TV. But I did open my box of clothes today and it felt like a reunion with old friends. I'm still waiting for my other box of clothes which were shipped here though, then my wardrobe will be half completed. Half completed because my wardrobe will never be completed until I get a red blazer, a skater dress, a short pleated chiffon skirt and... well, it'll never be completed. I truly am spoilt. Now bye.
